Peter B. Plumb, CPA provides tailored support as a trusted business partner in
the development and management of the accounting and tax functions for small
and medium size businesses as well as the planning and preparation of personal,
corporate, LLC, partnership, and not-for-profit tax returns. Since we are a Certified
Public Accounting firm we prepare and issue compilation, review and audit reports
on financial statements that financial institutions, grant entities, and government
units require.
In 1980 after receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, Peter
Plumb, began preparing taxes with HRBlock and soon after began Plumb Tax
Service in Worcester, MA. He prepared
his first computerized tax return on a Commodore 64! He received
his certification as a CPA in March of 1989.
Having received experience with the firms of C T Lambert and J L Blake
CPAs he began the new firm in 1990.
Melanie is the office manager and contact person to ensure that our
clients are satisfied as well as providing write-up, payroll, and tax
preparation services. Jim with his seasoned
experience prepares tax returns with superb accuracy and with attention to
minimizing tax liability. Tanya reviews tax returns for completeness and
accuracy, scans all documents into our secure client database, and provides
various office support functions. Sarah
is our rest home client public resident billing specialist and Maria is our Quickbooks expert.
